At Shadhirra, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse our website or order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to show you our sarees and fulfil your order:
- Order and contact details you share with us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or by phone, such as your name, phone number, delivery address and email address.
- Order details, such as the sarees you choose, the order value and your delivery and payment status.
- Your email address, if you sign up for news about new arrivals and offers.
- Photos or videos you send us when you raise an exchange request.
We do not ask for or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank passwords. Payments are made through secure payment links or UPI apps run by banks and payment providers, which handle those details directly.
Your cart and saved sarees
The sarees you add to your cart or save with the heart icon are stored only in your own browser on your device. They are not sent to us until you choose to place your order on WhatsApp. You can clear them at any time by emptying your cart or clearing your browser data.
How we use your information
- To confirm stock, take payment, pack and deliver your order.
- To share delivery and tracking updates and to answer your questions.
- To handle exchange requests.
- To send you news about new arrivals and offers, but only if you asked for it. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep the records required by Indian tax and accounting law.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share your details only with the people who help us complete your order:
- Courier and delivery partners: your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can deliver your parcel.
- Payment providers and banks: to process your payment securely.
- Government authorities: only when the law requires it.
Third-party services
When you contact us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, your messages are also handled under those platforms' own privacy policies. Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. Links to these services take you to websites we do not control.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. We keep marketing contacts only until you ask us to stop. When we no longer need your information, we delete it.
Your rights
Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update your details;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it by law;
- stop sending you marketing messages.
To make any of these requests, message us on WhatsApp. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable care to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
